Private Sessions
Sometimes grief is deeply personal, and you may prefer to have space to talk through what you are experiencing on your own. One to one, private sessions provide a confidential, compassionate space where you can be heard without judgement and supported to make sense of your grief journey.
These sessions are tailored to where you are right now. Whether you are experiencing a bereavement, anticipatory grief whilst caring for someone with dementia or another terminal illness, navigating a significant life change, or simply finding that life feels different after loss, we can explore what is happening for you and consider practical ways forward.
Together, we can look at the thoughts, feelings, challenges, and changes that grief can bring, while developing greater understanding and strategies to help you navigate your journey.
There is no expectation that you should have everything figured out. Grief is not a journey that looks the same for everyone, and sometimes having someone walk alongside you can make the path feel a little less overwhelming.
Private sessions are $220 + GST. (this is a 2hr session)
Appointments can be arranged as a single session or as ongoing support, depending on your needs.
6 Week Programme

Individual or Group Programme

Grief can leave us feeling overwhelmed, uncertain and sometimes wondering why we feel the way we do.
Good Grief – The Journey is a practical and compassionate six-week programme designed to help you better understand grief, recognise what is happening within you and develop practical ways to journey through loss with greater understanding, confidence and hope.
Grief is not limited to bereavement. You may be experiencing anticipatory grief, supporting someone through illness, navigating dementia or disability, facing a significant life change, or carrying another form of loss. Whatever has brought grief into your life, having the opportunity to understand and process what you are experiencing can make a meaningful difference.
Across six sessions, you will explore the journey of grief, either individually or in a group, from accepting and witnessing pain, to expressing feelings, releasing burdens such as guilt and shame, addressing old wounds, integrating pain and love, and ultimately finding meaning in life after loss.
This is not about rushing grief or trying to “move on”. It is about creating space to understand what you are carrying, develop practical tools to navigate it and discover what moving forward can look like for you.
We all have times when we need someone to walk alongside us. You do not have to navigate grief alone.
Good Grief – The Journey is available for individuals seeking personal support, as well as groups, workplaces, churches, community organisations and support services wanting to build a greater understanding of grief together.
It may even be that you are a whanau (family) that are grieving that would benefit from this course as a group. Reach out and lets talk.
